NCC Enrollment Program at G.C.R.G. Group of Institutions: Building Tomorrow’s Leaders.

The NCC enrollment program conducted by the 64 UP Battalion National Cadet Corps in G.C.R.G. Group of Institutions, Bakshi Ka Talab, Lucknow, on September 20, 2023, was a resounding success. This event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of various technical courses, both boys and girls, who came together to embark on a remarkable journey of 3 years of NCC training.

Phase 1: Introduction to NCC

The program was divided into three phases, with each phase serving a specific purpose. In the first phase, participants received a comprehensive briefing about NCC activities, benefits, and the potential employment opportunities it offers in the defence, public sector units, and corporate sectors. This introduction set the stage for the students, igniting their interest and enthusiasm for what lay ahead.

Phase 2: Physical Efficiency Test

The second phase focused on assessing the physical fitness of the students. Physical fitness is a cornerstone of NCC training, and the Physical Efficiency Test provided an opportunity for participants to showcase their physical prowess and readiness for the challenges that awaited them.

Phase 3: Mental Strength Examination

In the third and final phase, students underwent an entrance examination designed to assess their mental strength. This examination aimed to gauge their aptitude, knowledge, and determination, ensuring that only the most committed and capable individuals would move forward in the program.

Leadership and Mentorship

The NCC enrollment program was under the command of Maj. Shekhar (ANO), who, along with Subedar Major Bhupender Singh Dhami, and a dedicated team of training officers and instructors, including Naib Subedar Ram Kishan, Havaldar Neeraj Singh Dhek, Havaldar Naresh Singh, Havaldar Chanchal Singh, Battalion Havaldar Major Kailash C Joshi, Prashant Yadav, and Nursing Assistant Renu Yadav, provided invaluable leadership and mentorship to the students.

Fostering Discipline, Leadership, and National Integration

The primary aim of the NCC enrollment program is to expose students to the salient aspects of Army Wing Training while instilling a competitive spirit, fostering a sense of discipline, leadership, and promoting national integration. It is not merely a training program but a transformative journey that equips young minds with the skills and values necessary to become responsible and confident leaders of tomorrow.

At G.C.R.G. Group of Institutions, we take pride in nurturing the potential of our students, and the NCC enrollment program is a testament to our commitment to their holistic development. We look forward to witnessing the growth, achievements, and contributions of these future leaders as they embark on this exciting NCC journey.
