GCRG Conducted Faculty Development Program on ‘Trust Buildin with Students and Parents’ January 31st 2013
GCRG Memorial Trust Group of Institutions Lucknow organized one day faculty development program at its Lucknow Campus. The program was conducted by OYSTER – SKILLS EMBELLISHED a corporate training company from Mumbai.
The trainers Ms. Pooja Krishnan & Ms. Suzzaina Chaves from Mumbai formulated the faculty development program with a perfect blending of interesting activities on trust building and team-work. Suzzaina and Pooja are the well known name in the training community across the nation.
The program was based on the theme of trust building among students and parents at college level. The participants learnt various methods of trust building, counselling and developing empathy with students. The participants felt re-charged and motivated after this program.
“It is a refreshing experience in which we learn ground level workable solutions in very easy learning mode” says Mr. Umang Anand a faculty of Management. Mr. Kushwaha HOD Mechanical Engineering said “Such training sessions are really helpful for betterment of student-teacher relationship in a trustworthy and learning atmosphere.”
The Chairman of The GCRG group Mr. Abhishek Yaday added “We should be active regarding the students’ development, but rather proactive regarding the faculty development. Only the well trained faculty develops the future professionals who can lead.”
The program was headed by the Director of the institution Prof A.N. Singh and co-ordinated by Dr. Ravish Singh Rajput Dean Academics and Mr. Pratyush Srivastava Director- Training & Placements.
