29th Dr. Kalam Startup Parikrama conducted at G.C.R.G. Group of Institutions, Lucknow
Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Startup Parikrama conducted under the guidance of Vice Chancellor AKTU Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak was held at at G.C.R.G. Group of Institutions, Lucknow on 21st Sep 2019. The main objective of this program is to make students aware of startups and entrepreneurship. The University’s “TEQIP III” Coordinator Prof. Vineet Kansal had written a letter to the institutes affiliated to the university. The institute should encourage students to become aware and participate in this regard.
This startup Parikrama has so far been conducted through “TEQQ III” at its next stop G.C.R.G. Group of Institutions, Lucknow, via cities like Agra, Ghaziabad, Gautam Budh Nagar, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Kannauj etc. Around 200 students participated in the event and 14 teams presented their Business Ideas. In which three main ideas were also awarded, thus far more than 83 Business Ideas have been honored.
On the occasion, Mr. Pratyusha Srivastav, Director, (Training and Placement), G.C.R.G. Group of Institutions Lucknow said that G.C.R.G. will always encourage such programs in collaboration with the University.
The keynote speaker on this occasion was Mr. U.K. Bajpai revealed about the bank loan available to the students at Co-startup. He discussed in detail the possibilities of hidden business in this startup.
Ms. Aditi Kumar, Technical and Operation Head, Bio Incubator from IIT Kanpur, apprised the students about various schemes of SIDBI. She also discussed how to make a presentation for these schemes and present their product so that investment can be obtained.
The winners of this program were,
1. Shubham Singh was awarded first prize in the Waste Plastic Fuel System.
2. Akshar Pandey was given second prize on e smart bike.
3. Shruti (B.Tech student of G.C.R.G. Group of Institutions Lucknow ) was awarded third prize on Public Monitoring System.
